A relax day before another week
Last night was epic! Everyone at the party invested a lot in there costumes which resulted into a glorious mascarade bal. The theme: “The gates of Hell”; held in an old church converted into a theater. The irony was entertaining. But, before the fun it was a tight countdown to make it in time.
In less than two hours, I managed to create a gorgeous beaded mask out of random craft items, and a plain cotton back mask. In fifteen minutes, I nailed a crazy good dead like skin with black light glowing blood vessels vampir make up for St. It took me about the same time. In a fly, with little ressources, I pulled together the best costumes of our group. To be fair, my mom had sowed my dress and I createthe ornaments in 2019. As for St, we bought his shirt online, but almost everything had hand made additions by me. My love for carfts, and arts is fully alive.
We came home, ate, laugh at hilarious online videos on YouTube of Ozzi man, and went to bed joyous. St was still struggling with his could as he woke up, but I was full of energy. Last night was a major victory. Having pulled off what I created in so little time when it comes to last minute unforseen circumstances was brilliant. Yes, I’m tooting my own horn loudly, but I don’t want to be ashamed of my pride. I really accomplish something incredible. My mom would be proud too. She’s a fabulous seamstress, and she created many extraordinary, and crafty costumes over the years. I’m glaf for having inherited her talent.
As the exciting will have to subsided, I will refocus on school, and the long list of to-dos around the house. Still, I can feed of the nergy of my success, and the grate fun that came along.
