I was getting worried by my lack of motivation in the past 2 weeks, and knew that measures needed to be taken to get back on track with my studies. Luckily, my chemistry teacher remediate to my situation with a specially heavy load of homeworks this upcoming week and a half.

I’ll be having my second laboratory on Friday, for which I’m very excited, and my teammate and I have decided to come much more prepared than last time. It’s my job to prepare the calculations template tomorrow to make sure we’re on the right track during our experiment. The success of my teammate relies on my ability to deliver, there for, I will work relentlessly till the job is done.

This relentlessness won’t last more than a week, so I’m not going to burn myself out. It’s a nice push to get me focused, and committed again. Nevertheless, I’m happy with the rest period my body naturally took. I needed to reconnect with my core, and reestablish balance in my routine. It’s also reassuring to know that even if school is hard, not every weeks are as intense. Therefore I can plan quiet times to recover.

This tightening of my timeline gave me the necessary energy to go through some reading after class to prepare for my biology class tomorrow. The rest of my week and the weekend will be dedicated to my chemistry laboratory, and report. My squirrels are totally invested in my upcoming school work, I don’t have much more to talk about. The final push before the Winter break has started.

Gratitude Journal:

I’m grateful to have the energy to perform at school.
