And this goes here, that goes there, and this, and that…

The dance of figuring out how to setup all the well-intended stuff you brough on a trip “just in case.”

Yesterday’s travels were extensive, but all went well. We’re so happy to be in Iceland, and the first day here was fantastic. Our planed recovery time was spot on, and we’ll be able to enjoy tomorrow to the fullest.

The weather is great, but very damp. We’re learning that Iceland isn’t cold, it’s humid which makes the thickest sweaters close to obsolete. Though one fiber maintains it’s insulating properties under thease conditions, but it’s incredibly expensive: wool. There’s no way I could afford an Icelandic sweater, but I’ll keep in mind to find add more wool to my wardrobe.

Our time at the Blue Lagoon was magical. From one pool area to the next, we experienced the sunset through a thick cloud of mystical fog. We were in another world.

Now, our bodies are relaxed, and ready for a nice long night, before the real adventure begins.

Gratitude Journal:

I’m grateful for traveling with my best friend, and lover.
