At a distance social day

My largest personal task to transfer years of file from one of my Google accounts to another storage location is finally completed. It’s a huge weight off of my shoulders, and I’ll focus better on my new life. This transition led me to contact those I wanted to stay in touch with to make sure they would accept my new contact information. So I had a few more chats than usual. Also, I had the pleasant surprise of seeing outside my godfather, and godmother. I didn’t interact with them in a decade or so. It’s been agreeable to reconnect with family members at a distance through my parents. From video chats to outdoor hellos, this is a much appreciated safe social time.

Outside of my distance interaction, I had a quiet day, and started to plan my return home. I’ll be returning to my dear friends house in Montreal for two nights to shop a new phone, and enjoy a few more hugs before diving in another study marathon. But right now, time to go back to tonight’s Holiday movie before bed.

Gratitude Journal:

I’m grateful for melted cheese that makes all food yummy.
