Back to business

--

My dear friend S and her travelling buddy left this morning after a memorable vacation together. It felt so good to spend time in excellent company surrounded by natural beauty. It gave me one more chance at leisurely socializing before school begins. Knowing that I had my fill of fun helps diving back into my books. An intense year awaits and going into it without regrets of not enjoying myself enough is reassuring. Next Summer, I’ll have the chance to once more let go, relax and mingle with my favourite people. I spent most of the day cleaning and getting ready for what’s ahead. I feel the weight of fatigue pushing my eyelids down having used most of my energy. It’s time to sleep before another day of preparation for school.

Gratitude journal:

I’m grateful for dogs' amazing companionship.
