And the holiday weekend has begun. First meal down, two more to go. It was amazing. St’s family is so kind. I finally got to meet St’s sister’s family face-to-face; his nephews that he adores, his friendly sister, and his super sweet brother in,law. I got to connect more with his sister in law that lives in Montreal, and we’re looking to do a few activities together. I’m picking up on the family gatherings pace, and it will get easier from there.

Prior to joining the family, I started the day focused, and jumped in my studies right away. I’m advancing at a descent pace, but I still have a lot to do. Still, I’m doing much better than last semester. I guess my study-home life is more balanced now, and I’m more refreshed when I’m doing school work.

At this point, I’m pretty tired, like most evenings, and I will do just a bit more before bed. Tomorrow, I have tutoring to complete all my home work. Gotta make sure I stranscribided everything so we can do a final review on it before submitting my papers. Tuesday will be a much more relaxed day, for now I have to push to the finish line.

Gratitude Journal:

I’m grateful for being part of a new family.
