“In the midst of difficult conversations, friction pells away old layers allowing new possibilities to surface.” That’s what I concluded after an amicable but demanding conversation with L. I choose to open up completely to my partners, therefore L and I revisited last night's feelings together, at my request. He’s still getting used to the radical yet loving honesty I cultivate in my interactions, I’m glad he embraced my ways so quickly.

With empathy and regards, I know talking about my ex is not easy for L. From the fear I would want to go back to my ex to the feeling of being compared, eggshells have to be gently flattened under our feet. Little pokes happen here and there but no real harm is caused. Cultivating a deep friendship while exploring love is a delicious yet tricky omelet.

Growing stronger every day, we can now bath in the afterglow of our newly mastered communication tools. Depth is the only way I can love.

Gratitude journal:

I’m grateful for revision before exams. (Truly, I love it!)
