Food therapy

Tonight, a dear friend joined me for dinner which gave me the motivation to put in some effort in cooking something nice. From a surprising beet and fig chutney experiment that turned out much better than expected and the joys of fresh quality ingredients, the best part was to share those delight with someone who could appreciate it. Food heals the heart, mind, body and soul. As I’m still grieving, little pleasures ease the sorrow.
