Friends, food, and nature
--
It was a great weekend in amazing company. St, and I have spent most weekends out, and about visiting family, and friends most of the passed two months. We were pretty tired when we left yesterday, but the mountain air, the lake swim, and the epic healthy food rejuvenated us.
What our friends create at their cottage is beautiful. It’s very inspiring for us, and our dream of a tiny house. We’re impressed by the way they learned different techniques, and renovated their cottage alone. And we’re talking massive undertakings. From digging by hand a basement, and installing new foundations, to landscaping an inclined lot with stone walls fortifications, they did it all. We’ve already decided that we would never put that much energy in a home, we simply couldn’t spare the energy anyway.
To hang out as a couple feels wonderful. For me it’s a welcomed return to a passes status, but for St, this is a brand new experience that he gets enjoy for the first time. We love it! Giggles, cuddles, and joy field our days. We flow together, and even floated on a lake together. Our silliness is communicative, and the people around us likes our new couple energy — an energy we intend to cultivate for a life time.
