Fully functioning, yes!
My brain, body, and sprit cooperated for outstanding results today. I haven’t felt that productive in a while which is a relief. As finals are approaching, I need my full self to perform.
Got up early, got going early, and pushed through the entire bloc of studies I wanted to do, all in excellent time. This is motivating, and hopefully this momentum continues all week so I can tackle my entire to-do before Christmas. Having a headache free Holiday would allow me to be more present to my loved ones. After years living away, I’d like to enjoy my first celebrations with my family without having things to worry about in the back of my mind.
I spent most of my day deep in my books so I don’t have great epiphanies or much events to talk about. I witnessed a great act of kindness from a young man who organized the delivery of a big gift to a sick family member at a distance from his phone, and computer. I’m absorbing the fantastic wisdom of the book, “What happened to you”?, small chunks at a time. I’ve cooked great meals, which reminds me to post a picture. Since I’m a brunch person more than a breakfast or lunch person, here is a picture of the little feast that started my day. I call it “the art of making canned fish memorable.” I hope this feeds your eyes as much as it fed my body.
