Getting things done during extreme cold
If there’s one conversation topic Canadians babel about nation wide, it’s for sure our weather. Holy is it cold! I stayed home Saturday thinking it would be the coldest day, but no. Is almost 10 degrees Celsius less today, and what I need to do can no longer wait.
The one mild day of the week so far was Sunday. Thanks to the partial lock down, all grocery stores were closed, and I couldn’t get what I needed. I still had enough to get by but I miss my yogurt so much, and I also needed for my gut balance. Ugh! Here we go, after a full day of studying I will go out in a weather colder than the average freezer by about 50%. Yeah…
Once I get over my annoyance at trying to function while surviving insane temperatures. Other than that, chemistry is on a great start, the foundations I acquired last semester are paying off. As for algebra, I made some progress, and I’m finding more online resources as templates to speak math. I have a huge day tomorrow. We have exceptionally a chemistry class in the morning instead of a lab tomorrow, then I have a doctor’s appointment by phone, then I have my math online study session back to back. I’ll have to wat at my desk, and multitask. I still plan to stay till 5pm to advance on my home work.
Outside of school, I got an update message by P about the readings I recommended. He’s already making massive realization from only chapter one of, “Adul Children of Emotionally Immature Parents”, by Lyndsay Gibson. He’s truly grateful for the guidance, and I’m joyous of the fact he’s going to find more peace, and happiness through this knowledge. It warms my heart, and soul.
I’m almost at the grocery store halfway from the university, and my place. I’m going to hold on tight to those warm feelings of P’s growth, and defeat the deadly cold. Wish me luck!
