I don’t plan cheat days because they always come, and sometimes in two.

I’m guilty, yesterday’s meal got played on repeat but with less fat and carbs. A ridiculous amount of delicious rare meats and fishes were devoured voraciously in a frenetic feast of epic flavours. I am blessed and content. But tomorrow the bender ends and I will get back to my program and be more respectful to eat plant-based proteins.

In this bath of food-induced serotonin and dopamine, I’m slipping into bed with the utmost gratitude. My privilege to access such moments of ecstasy will not be taken for granted and it shall propel me in creating improved recipes to reach this level of enjoyment with respect for the environment.

With full appreciation for how lucky I am, I wish you all a good night.
