It went well.

My first exam went pretty well today. I found solutions for all the questions, and hopefully was on the right path. I managed to control my stress, and kept a good energy level for the non-stop four hours I was at it.

Adopting an adult outlook on the situation did help a lot. Bringing myself back to the fact that I could find all the answers in my book, and that I was in charge of the process alleviated a lot of stress. I managed to have excellent grades for my homeworks through out the semester, there was no reason why I wouldn’t be able to do the same for my exam.

Once done, I took time to recover, cook, and love my darling. Now, it’s time to prepare for my last exam: integrals. The course material got more hefty at the end, but I have a tutoring session on Sunday to help me tackle the ladt details. One way or another, I’m unbelievably happy with my progress. From daily tutoring in the Summer to one weekly tutoring session a week for only one subject, I’ve gained so much more skills.

Being able to control my fear, and work through the tough parts is incredibly rewarding. It’s been a good semester, and the next one will be the first I try at a full course load. I will have two easy courses, and two harder ones. If I’m struggling, I’ll be able to let go of some subjects, and focus on what matters. Slowly, but surely, I’ll improve my performance.
