Today was a perfect Saturday. Warm weather, bright sun, happy people walking along the river, rest, food and good friend’s company. I met my favourite couple for dinner at their place and enjoyed some much-needed pleasure time after weeks of intense studying. I feel rested and rejuvenated now and ready to tackle a long homework list tomorrow.

I successfully completed the translation work I was given earlier this week and can now return to a more steady rhythm. I feel that for the first time in my life, all the elements of my future are lining up, and constant reaffirmation of my path is signalled every day. It’s an incredible feeling to have clarity after years of wondering and searching for my purpose. Nothing compares to knowing I’m doing what I’m supposed to and going where I was destined to go. The road is clear; it’s safe to run at will and make my way to my dearest dreams. I’m sprinting on with all my joy.

I’m okay, I will be okay, and things will be okay. For once, I can close my eyes and trust that all is well and as it should be.

Gratitude journal:

I’m grateful for Alberta beef filet mignon.
