Round and round
Trigonometric identities are making my head spin, as I’m trying to wrap my brain around the various notions. The baiscs are pretty simple, but when it comes to prooving specific identities, or use the identities in the context of complex equations, it spins out of control.
After another frustrating study day, I was invited to hit a few balls on the tennis court. It felt good to run around for an hour re connecting with muscle memory that haven’t been used in close to two decades. Hitting the ball nice, and hard on my service satisfied my need for stress release. I was surprised at how fast it came back to me, thanks to my lovely cerebellum, it had kept it alive. The one thing though is that I only know how to serve well, when it comes to returning the ball I couldn’t do much. Still, it was a lot of fun, and I needed to let go of studying.
Other than my mind spinning around with trig, and my feet running in circles on the court, I didn’t accomplish much more, and it’s good enough. St is recovering from an intense week at the office dealing with a massive gathering of all employees around North America. It was good because I was busy pretending playing tennis. We’re equally excited to meet on Monday. The growing romance is exciting, but getting to hang out with my old-time friend is even better.
