Round trip then wrapped

The day trip to my university went well. I got the help I needed with a hard chapter in math, and unexpectedly bumped into a study friend at the math aide center. I enjoyed reconnecting with the campus environment. Memories from last year’s rough start emerged with nostalgia. I overcame my challenges, and have grown so much.

The way back home was smooth, and I managed to squeeze a bit more studying on board. I was welcomed by my beloved at the exit of the metro station near our place. We had an agreeable walk back home before enjoying my darling’s home cooking. We finished Cobra Kai’s latest season yesterday, and we’ve agreed to watch video of tiny homes for the time being.

It’s now a quarter to 9, we’re looking at the city sky line after sunset. I have my love sitting betweeny legs as I type over his head. We’re having quite a kick over that. A big blanket is wrapping over us. The Fall air is crisp, and we’re dosing off in our embrace.

I’m proud of my accomplishments. I’ve undertaken a very demanding journey. Sometimes I’m worried I may not be able to do as much as I dream of. As long as I do what I can, is what matters. For now, I will focus on here, and now. The gentle breathing movement of St’s chest, his soft hair, the relaxing music playing, and us. Enjoying undistracted time together.

Gratitude Journal :

I’m grateful for the view at my new place.
