Small increments

I woke up exhausted. In the middle of the night, hunger took me out of sleep, but I didn’t want to deregulate my digestion, and took a few hours before going back to sleep. The lack of energy that resulted from this misfortune hade worry that I wouldn’t accomplish my goals for the day.

Luckily, I manage to make decent slow progress on all fronts. I was quite proud of having address every element on my to-do, and got home early enough to do the dishes, and cook fabulous turkey tacos. Red lentils in pan fried ground turkey is magical. As usual, I try to balance my plant base, and animal proteins. A bonus achievement is wining my first Go match in the bus on my way home. A quick 15 minutes here, and there will lead to substantial results soon. It’s reassuring to know that even when in less than optimal shape, I can count on myself.

One thing that tremendously help today is studying in a group. The math aide center is homework central for a few of my student fellows now. It gives us such better momentum. Plus, I phoned my mom to see how she’s doing after her cataract operation. She’s recovering wonderfully, and the family news she relayed was heartwarming. My heart is settling from my misfortune with R, and I will let time tell what will happen of our friendship.

Not much more has happened, and no further inspiration is coming my way so I will briefly conclude. With a full tummy, life is so much.

Gratitude Journal :

I’m grateful for my math tutor’s humour.
