It’s official, my math teacher is terrible. After many students told him about the mistake on the last question of the homework, the teacher finally woke up that he indeed made a mistake. That massive assignment counts for a fair part of our total grade, and this correction was brought one day before the submission cutoff date. My class has gathered online to help one another because we are now certain of our teacher’s incompetence. We will succeed this class, but we need to count on ourselves to do so.

At least the math aide center tutor is brilliant, and the students have a blast with him. I end up being overdramatic gesturing abondantly to express my mathematical debacles. It’s awesome, and I want to go there as soon as it’s back on Wednesday. Linear algebra, and vector geometry are relatively hard topics for those who never encountered this subject, like me. But once the language is acquired, and the connections between each element is highlighted, it becomes quite fun. I’m at the enjoyment stage now, and I want to achieve more skills, but first chemistry.

Ugh! My second lab report is an extensive piece of work. I’m getting there, but it’s demanding. Lots of details, lots of data, and on the spot logarithm learning. Integrated rate laws to calculate a chemical reaction velocity is hefty subject. Yeah, I took out my big nerdy jargon here. I still need to make sure I apply the natural logarithms property on the data we obtain. At least, the very same experimental procedure is explained in our chemistry book. Now that I’m more familiar with logarithms, it’s time to put that knowledge together to create my kickass, experimentally defined, reaction velocity law.

I finished the day with a nice long chat with my best friend. I miss him so much. I can’t wait to see him again. I don’t know when, but some day. Another thing that occupies my mind before going to bed is that I’m a bit worried about finding a place for July first. I’ve sent in a few emails to see if major companies have available units. Not all tenants have given their answers for their renewal yet, but I’m making sure I’m on top of the pile for when the answers come in. Also, my income taxe report is on the go. I submitted all my documents, and have settled all the online registrations I needed to get it done.

It’s a satisfying start of the week. I still have a lot of work ahead, but definite progress has been made. I would say it’s the kind of progress you would put on a logarithmic chart for sure.

Gratitude Journal:

I’m grateful for having such a dear best friend.
