Notes of hope
It’s been a relaxing day at my dad’s place. Since my farther, and his girlfriend tend to be busy in the day with various tasks, I used my time alone to sort out some files online. During our time together, multiple conversation leads to various discoveries for everyone as information flows. It’s great to be able to exchange actively, and reflect on subjects that may escape my awareness if alone.
Good food, thought provoking exchanges, relaxing down time, and a sense of familiarity has been therapeutic. I received news of my student financial aide, and have a small increase for the next year. This is reassuring since I now fully live on those funds.
Another good news outside of my personal life, Canadian media are paying attention to Hong Kong loss of democracy, finally. Since the pandemic, Canadian medias have been obsessed with Covid stats, and barely covered any international news. For having visited this wonderful national in November 2019, I glad the general population will be updated on the terrible deterioration of human rights over there. I know the world cannot control China, but at least the damage can partially by controlled when all eyes of the planet is watching them.
On this optimistic note, I will retreat to my bedroom for a restful night of sleep. I truly hope the more proactive generation Z will stand up, and try to limit China’s damage to the world’s diversity.
