This isn’t pretty. The notions keep pilling up while I’m still struggling with week one notions. I will have to work longer hours, which means that I have to ration my downtime/sleep to a standard 8 hours. To really be rested, I need 9 hours of sleep, and a fair amount of wiggle room around it.

My classmates are an inspiration, most of them did 4 classes last semester which included the first calculs. They encountered the same struggles as I did, and had way less time to assimilate the notions. The fact that I projecting a few 60 hours weeks is scary, but they did it. It’s hard, but it’s doable.

My body is recovering from my all-nighter, and I was more tired today than yesterday. I think by tomorrow I will more energetic. One way or another, at this point I have to be doing something from the moment I wake up till I go to bed. Spare time is a luxury I can’t afford at the moment.

Algebra is the easiest of the three math classes of the certificat I’m doing. Ready or not, I’ll have to put in all I’ve got to keep going. I must understand for my curiosity, my self-love, and my future.

Gratitude Journal:

I’m grateful for the study help a classmate offered today.
