The dive

I finally plunged into my algebra studies. The water is cold, and I’m going to have to swim hard. Mathematics are so unnatural to me, ugh! I gotta hang in there because thise bases are going to help me through out my career in microbiology. Even if I know why I’m doing this, it’s still unpleasant.

Luckily the teacher is exlent, his online class is fantastic, and the concepts are so far comprehensible. My biggest challenge is to learn the language of proofs. I’m still learning all the symbolse, and structuring the steps of my reasoning is the biggest issue. Tomorrow, there’s a question period with my math teacher, then I’ll have my math tutoring after. Hopefully I can get more clarity on how to speak math.

My day mostly revolved around studying, but I did get brief encouraging messages from P to keep up the good work. We both are enjoying interacting once more, even if there’s no certainty it will last. We both are healing more easily now that feelings have been expressed. I will await his response on re-entering the relationship or not. For now, I just glad to be in good terms.

I won’t be very chatty since my brain has had its share of exercise for today. I hope I can master the art of proving math, or to the minimum be passible. Sleep is my best learning ally, night night !

Gratitude Journal :

I’m grateful for the quietness of my school since the partial lock down.
