It was a full day of chemistry studies I kick started with a delicious homemade Mexican breakfast. I’m doing good, good enough to help my study buddy through out the day by text. Feels awesome to be the lead after so many struggles. Still, I have to keep working consistently to achieve acceptable grades.

An advice I shared with my schoolmate was: “don’t anxiety study". This means, don’t let your fears or stress make the decision while studying, focus on the task at hand instead. I’ve had lots of experience with anxiety packing, anxiety cleaning, anxiety cooking, anxiety shopping, etc. This concept applies to any activity, the key is not to let fear and stress make the decision. A good question to ask is: “is it essential?”

From that, you can refocus on what really needs to be done, and sometimes, what needs to be done is rest. Like now. Time to recover for another full day of reviewing chemistry. Night night!

Gratitude Journal:

I’m grateful for my reemerging self-love.
