Working real hard to get unstuck

Ugh! Times a thousand. I’m back to a placw I thought I never would be in again, as I thought my math skills had improved. I was naive. Two hours, two hours… one question. Behind on my studies is an understatement.

Okay, I’m dramatizing. I didn’t finish this week on time, and it can be remediated. I wanted to take some advance to stay on top of things, but alas. I may ask my physics tutor to do a bootcamp week so that I can tackle all the maths, and get ahead. I hate not being able to see which equations to use, and how. I know what the questions are about, and I’m often close to the proper solution, but I end hitting dead-ends after dead-ends. Ugh! I’m not going to be walking in the dark chapters after chapters hitting new lows of desperation week after week. Enough with those teachers who play their masochistic mind games. I’m going to get ahead, and bite the head off of those freaking math! Then shove that head in my teachers b…

Okay, easy now. Still, I’m growling and showing my teeth now. I’ve suffered this hit on my mental, and physical health twice, and I won’t let it happen again. I refuse to be treated that way. I want to be in charge of my own destiny, and I’m no longer letting teachers set the pace. My turn to do things my way. Math, you are my tool, and it’s time you respond to my commands.

Thankfully St was of phenomenal moral support today. We chatted twice for an hour. Little pep talks to keep me going. Also good news!!! I have the keys to my new appartement, and I got a free couch that I actually really like. I can order an AC ASAP, and start setting up in my awesome new den. The Victorian house I’m in is gorgeous, my concierge is amazing, and I’ll get to kitty sit in the near future. When it comes to life outside of school, things are looking up.

It’s time I put on my nerd warrior bandana, and kick some asses. Full blown tutoring mode, here I come!
